It is a 5-minute walk from Gerichtstraße to the 'Leopoldplatz' U6/U9 subway station. U9: to get to 'Berlin Zoo' station go in the direction of 'Rathaus Steglitz', and to get back from there go in the direction of 'Osloer Straße' (getting off at 'Leopoldplatz' station again).
At 'Berlin Zoo(logischer Garten)' you can have a sight-seeing tour by simply going on a regular city bus number 100 or 200.
From Gerichtstraße it is a 2-minute walk to the city-train station Wedding. There you can get on and off the city trains of the Berlin railroad ring (S-Bahn-Ring): S41 S42 S46 S8. The S41 (clockwise on the whole ring) takes 10 minutes to the Velodrome. The S42 (anti-clockwise on the whole ring) takes you to the I(nternational) C(ongress) C(entre) trade-fair area. So with the S41 and the S42 in the opposite direction you can get on the train at Wedding station and do a complete circuit of the ring. To reach us get off at Wedding station and leave the platform following the arrows pointing to 'Reinickendorfer Straße'.
The railroad ring intersects all of Berlin's subway lines. At the station 'Messe Nord - ICC' you can take the subway U2 towards 'Ruhleben' to get to 'Olympiastadion' (the Olympic Stadium).
It is a 5-minute walk from Gerichtstraße to both the 'Leopoldplatz' and 'Reinickendorfer Straße' U6 stations. U6: to get to 'Französische Straße' go in the direction of 'Alt Mariendorf', and to get back from there go in the direction of 'Alt Tegel' (getting off at 'Leopoldplatz' or 'Reinickendorfer Straße' again).
If you get out at the U6 station 'Französische Straße' you will be right near Pariser Platz with the Brandenburg Gate, the Chancellor's Office, the Reichstag, the street Unter den Linden, the Sony Center, and Potsdamer Platz. The U6 has stations all along Friedrichstraße and further south near Berlin Tempelhof airport.
When you arrive we will provide you with maps of the Berlin subway and city train network.
Everything is within about 10 to 15 minutes' reach by subway and/or city train.
